What do we need Spanish excuses for?

Well, the language learning card game we're designing is developing more in the direction of creating excuses (as opposed to any sentences), so the aim of this little exercise is to pull together as many excuses as possible that would really be used in Spain and learn the structure and phrases they're built around.

It would be really interesting to get the perspective of people from around Spain as I'm sure excuses will vary in style from different regions. Any help is hugely appreciated! If you know any Spanish people, please share this link with them!
