Learn Spanish with Games at The Mayflower Village (Story Dice Special!)

Hola todos! How about learning Spanish with card games and board games?

Head down to Southampton's The Mayflower Village (right next door to The Mayflower Theatre and 2min walk from the Central Train Station) on Sunday 6th of Feb and that's what we'll be doing.

Starts at 2pm for 2/3 hours.

We'll have some great games like Kloo: Race to Madrid, P is for Pizza, Man Bites Dog and we recently discovered how great Story Dice are for creating stories and practising a language, so we got 4x sets of them for Lingouting! You'll love them.

We'll also be continuing to progress Lingouting Cards with your thoughts and feedback, our own little card game in development (ps - it's a tad bit rude, don't come if your easily offended!) with a growing focus on creating Excuses in Spanish as part of the game.

The meet-up is completely free and we've got the venue's Village Hall area booked for us which is on your right when you walk in.

The games played are typically best for beginners and intermediates in Spanish, but there are usually a couple native and advanced speakers present also, for those that would like some faster / advanced conversations.

Ben got to enjoy our undivided focus at our last meet-up (lucky him!), which was the first of the year and the first at The Mayflower Village. I guess that's Januarys for you and a shame so many plans derailed by positive tests!

It was definitely however, the best place we've met at so far: great space just for us; lovely food and a stone's throw from the Central Station!
