Test Driven Development is one of the Agile engineering practices whose benefits are many.

From ensuring a better design, providing a safety net for future code changes, to acting as a living documentation of code behavior, TDD plays a vital role in increasing the agility of the team.

Though TDD as a concept is much simpler to understand, mastering the techniques require guidance and continued practice.
In this three hour workshop on Test Driven Development,

• Participants shall be introduced to the concept of Test Driven Development
• The TDD cycle to software development shall be discussed
• TDD exercises will be jointly practiced to achieve the necessary mind-set shift

Pre-requisites:

• Prior knowledge of programming
• Experience with programming in JAVA (Beginner level expertise is enough)
• A Laptop with at least 4GB of RAM
• JDK installed on the Laptop
• An IDE (Preferably Eclipse) installed on the Laptop
