What we’re about

❤️Dear Writers, world builders, and creators,❤️

We will meet up for a friendly meeting of the best kind. A writerly one.

Have you always wanted to write yet never knew where to start? Do you want to pick up new inspiration for a new story or for building on to an existing one?

Using the insightful and powerful writing exercises from Ursula K. Leguin‘s book, “Steering the Craft”, we will get a feel for what makes a scene, how one is written, and get to catching some creative wisps — they glow bright and infect you with a certain energy when you catch them.

Our meetings won’t be long, about an hour, with 25-30 minutes between greetings and exercise breakdown.
Then, we‘ll do the exercise, which might take up to 30-60 minutes, depending on the exercise.

The event will be officially over, except for those who want to share their writing and get or give feedback, (preferably both).

This event will be held at the Alrighty Cafe near Ostbahnhof.

So, if you want to have a guaranteed writing time, with guidance from a writing legend (that would be Ursula K. Leguin not me😆), join us on this midday workshop.

⚠️Side effects: this workshop could lead to making new friends, building a writing community, providing inspiration for your stories, and sharpening the tools of your craft.
