Details

Ravenswood Bluff is heading down the riverside for some demon hunting with great company, good food, and (hopefully) lots of sunshine with a nice breeze!

Travelling there
Our meeting point is Double Locks pub which I believe does have some parking (you’ll need to see what the terms are) else there will be some nearby.

Some of us will be walking down from the Quay so anyone who would like to meet up for the walk down the riverside, please be at the Piazza Terracina for 12:15 by the round seating thing (will send map picture). The what3words is: ///stand.chemistry.blunt

For those wishing to travel by train, the nearest station is Marsh Barton and the closest time is ~12:35 arrival (hourly). This joins the path I’ll be walking and the timings are roughly right that anyone getting the train will meet up with any walkers.

We’ll meet just before Double Locks for around 12:45 before finding a spot on the grass nearby to play. What3words: ///knots.inner.poems

What you need to bring

  • Food - If you’d like to bring food for others to share, feel free! No obligations to do so (if you do, please make a note of any allergens!) The pub may also have food you can buy and takeaway but this isn’t a guarantee!

  • Drinks - Bring plenty to drink, especially lots of water if it’s a hot day! We should be able to get water bottle refilled at the pub and they may also do takeaway drinks (I can check on this)

  • Something to sit on - We’ll be playing on the grass so please bring something to sit on if you don’t want to be on the floor! Blankets, camping chairs etc whatever works for you (if you have any more that you’re happy for others to bring, please do!)

  • Sun protection - sunscreen and hats! Wouldn’t want anyone getting burnt or suffering any ill effects of the sun. Sunglasses perfect for the Wraith 😉

  • Energy - We’ll bring the games, you bring the vibes!

No set end time for this! As long as we’ve got enough people for games, I’m happy to keep going well into the evening. Please do try to be free until around 15:00 at least so we can get there, settle down and run a full game!

In the event of poor weather, we’ll look to find an alternative location but please understand this event may be cancelled or changed at short notice due to this.

Really looking forward to this!
