New In: Online Gamers Room

NOTE: This event is an announcement only for our new online game chat channel

(Check out our first event this Friday 7pm for a session of games in Board Games Arena to kick things off. So please join..!)

Hi all,

Now the nights are getting longer and the wetter weather's here I was thinking of seeing what interest there is for some online gaming..! I've just set up a new Exeter Board Gamers WhatsApp group for chatting and organising online games (see below), and we also have a dedicated Discord group for in-game voice chats, so please sign up and join them if you're interested!

Discord in-game Chat: https://discord.gg/99t372HCv

I'll post a couple of meetup events to get things started but in the long run the idea is for the Online Gamers WhatsApp group to be somewhere people can join, chat, and post if they fancy playing something and put together a group of people who fancy joining.. So the more people who join the better!

The idea is to run games on platforms like Board Games Arena, Tabletopia, Tabletop Simulator, Steam, or any other platforms people know of, and use the already up and running Exeter Board Gamers Discord server for in-game voice chat. For online gamers it can also be a place to find extra players for co-op/pvp pc games or running board games legacies and campaigns..

So please join up if you might be interested!
