With Olivier Award-winner Hiran Abeysekera (Life of Pi) playing a "cocky young prince" in modern version that is "fluid and full of clever ideas and updates" (The Guardian). It starts at 19:00 and I'll be in the cafe from 18:15. The bar won't be be open afterwards so we'll have to just have a quick chat after it finishes.

From the Picturehouse website:

A fearless, contemporary take on Shakespeare’s famous tragedy. Trapped between duty and doubt, surrounded by power and privilege, young Prince Hamlet dares to ask the ultimate question – you know the one.

National Theatre Deputy Artistic Director, Robert Hastie (Standing at the Sky’s Edge, Operation Mincemeat) directs this sharp, stylish and darkly funny reimagining.

For tickets, see the Picturehouse website; I'm in H7 but sit wherever you wish.
