Sunday Walk from Exmouth to Budleigh (+ option to return via alternative route)

Join us for a walk along the coast path from Exmouth to Budleigh. This takes in some stunning scenery of the coast and Exe Estuary. This is a moderate 5 mile walk along beautiful cliff tops, finishing at the quiet resort of Budleigh Salterton.

There are a few steep sections and shoes with good grip are needed, along with clothing for wet and / or hot weather (check the forecast before setting out).

At Budleigh there are lots of places for light lunches, tea, cake and ice cream. You can then catch the 157 or 357 bus back to Exmouth (running every hour, currently £3 single, card payment accepted).

Optional extended route to return to the start in Exmouth: some of us will walk an extra 5 miles, returning to the start in Exmouth via the flatter and well-paved old railway path, which runs inland. If you opt to walk back, the finish time will be approximately 17:00.
