*** Exeter R Users Group - June 2018 Meeting (+ Post-meeting drinks!) ***
UPDATE: LIST OF TALKS NOW ADDED!
We are delighted to announce that the next meeting of the Exeter R Users Group will take place on the evening of Thursday 7 June 2018 in the Clayden Building on Streatham Campus, University of Exeter. (Clayden is building #54 on the campus map - see https://www.exeter.ac.uk/visit/directions/streathammap/) When you get to the Clayden Building, look for the signs to the Q-Step Computer Lab!
The event will start at 5:15pm, but please feel free to arrive from around 5pm - refreshments will be available.
We have four really interesting talks lined up for the meeting:
- Luke Pilling - Genes and health: using R to model and visualise human population genetics
- Oliver Stoner - The package 'nimble' for Bayesian inference
- Stefan Siegert - Some thoughts on the tidyverse
- Travis Coan - Supervised latent Dirichlet allocation in R
After the talks come to an end, at approximately 6:15-6:30pm, we'll be relocating to the Imperial (just 4 mins walk away - and downhill!) for a catch-up drink or two, and we really hope you will be able to join us there.
We look forward to seeing lots of you again on 7 June!
Cheers for now,
Tim
