Deep Conversation on Identities - Beneath the names we inherit and create

Excited to continue our streak of deep conversations in the Existential Explorations series.

This time, our theme is Identity — beneath the names we inherit and the names we create.

From the moment we are born, we are given names, roles, and expectations. We inherit a family story, a larger cultural story, and a character to play in the world — long before we ever get to choose for ourselves.

As we grow, we begin to add color and meaning to these labels. We even create new ones, enriching the “player” we present to the world.

Identities can be powerful. They give us superpowers — to succeed, to be seen, to belong, to stand out, to be part of something larger than ourselves.

But on the other hand, identities also limits us. They can weigh us down, alienate us from our own truth, and tie us to baggage we don’t fully believe in — yet still carry.

So, who are we beneath it all? Which identities do we hold loosely, and which have been stitched deep into our sense of self?

Are we just the sum of the roles we play? And if every label, every inherited identity fell away — what would remain?

As always, this will be a small, intimate gathering—a chance to stare into the abyss together one more time and create a space for real conversation and acceptance.

⏳ The building is closed on weekends, but I have access. I’ll be waiting outside the building to receive you — please arrive at least 10 minutes early at 13:20. Doors will close at 13:40 sharp.

☕ We’ll have coffee, tea, fruits, Doritos, and some chocolate in the space. No need to bring anything.
