Excited to continue our streak of deep conversations in the Existential Explorations series, and to welcome you to the final gathering of this year.

The last theme of the year is Life — and a sincere inquiry into its meaning and purpose.

Why are we here?
What’s the point?
Is there meaning at all?
And if so — where does meaning come from?

These questions have followed humanity through every age.
Not just philosophers, but poets, musicians, artists, psychologists, mystics, spiritual seekers — and every person who has ever faced crisis, loss or death — has met this question in one form or another.

There have been endless debates on whether meaning is subjective or objective — whether we create our own meaning, or whether it exists outside us and we simply discover it.

And beneath that sits an even more personal inquiry:
Where do I derive my meaning from?

Is meaning found in our ability to appreciate — to stand alone before a sunset and feel awe?

Or in our ability to act — to pursue something inherently valuable in the world, like finding a cure for cancer?

If there are multiple sources of meaning, have we truly chosen which ones we live by — or are we still borrowing them from family, culture, religion, ambition, or fear?

In one moment, we fall in love or find a passion — and we breathe meaning into it, becoming creators.

In another moment, when expectation collapses, we withdraw that meaning — and something dies.

So is meaning the energy we use to animate and abandon the things around us and within us?

Is meaning a truth — or a story?
A discovery — or an invention?
A gift — or a survival strategy?

As always, this will be a small, intimate gathering—a chance to stare into the abyss together one more time and create a space for real conversation and acceptance.

📍 Meeting Point: Entrance of Göta Arkhuset, Medborgarplatsen 25 (same as last time). Its 2 minute walk from Medborgarplatsen t-bana.

⏳ The building is closed on weekends, but I have access. I’ll be waiting outside the building to receive you — please arrive at least 10 minutes early at 13:20. Doors will close at 13:40 sharp.

☕ We’ll have coffee, tea, fruits, Doritos, and some chocolate in the space. No need to bring anything.

Looking forward to another raw and enlightening discussion. See you soon. 🙏
