# Exit9 PlayLab – First Creative Session (January 12, 2026)

7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Central New Jersey (Exact address provided after acceptance)
Welcome to the very first session of Exit9 PlayLab, a bi-weekly creative workshop for adults who want to reconnect to their craft, rediscover play, and work alongside other expressive humans in a structured, open, collaborative space.
This initial session is designed to give you a feel for the energy, the format, and the kind of ensemble we’re building together.

What This First Session Will Look Like
1. Arrival + Introduction (5–10 min)
A quick hello, a grounding moment, and a sense of what Exit9 PlayLab is — and isn’t.
2. Physical & Vocal Warmups (15–20 min)
Loosening the body, opening the voice, waking up presence.
3. Connection & Presence Exercises (15 min)
Partner or group exercises to help you drop in, breathe, and get out of your head.
4. Improv-Based Play (20–25 min)
Simple improv games and prompts focused on curiosity, responsiveness, and letting go — not “being funny,” but being available.
5. Scene & Text Exploration (20–25 min)
Short partnered moments, cold reads, or exploratory scene fragments to stretch instincts and creative impulses.
6. Debrief & Wrap-Up (10 min)
A short reflection on what worked, what surprised you, and how the PlayLab will evolve in future sessions.
This workshop is intentionally small and curated so everyone feels safe, energized, and seen. The vibe is:
adult, playful, grounded, creative, curious.
No pressure. No perfection. Just expression and craft.
Important: This Is Not a Drop-In Event
Because Exit9 PlayLab is a collaborative group, all prospective participants must first complete the interest form before attending.
This helps make sure the group is the right fit and that everyone joining is aligned with the shared energy and commitment level.
