Travel Talk : Japan

Travel talk is an evening where we take a closer look at country. It is an evening to discuss the history, culture, politics and travel tips for visiting the country. It is meant for anyone who is intrigued by the country, doesn’t know anything about it or has been there and wants to share their experience and knowledge with a wider group.

The event will start at 7pm.

The venue will be a private room at a Devereux Pub. 20 Devereux Court, Essex St, The Strand. WC2R 3JJ

The closet tube station is Temple, and it may take you a bit of navigating with your phone to find the pub.

The meeting is on the 1st floor function room. Just ask for the Travel Group at the pub and they will direct you to the room.

It is social evening for an informal discussion it will include presentations from discussions. The structured part will be from 7pm to 9pm and people can stay and chat until 11pm.

7:00 pm - Meeting time

7:30 pm - Start of the talk

7:30 - 8:15 pm - Introduction to Japan - A Tableaux of images, videos and chatter to give people a flavour of the country.

8:15-8:35 pm - The different way of travelling in Japan - Presentation by a Japanese expert from the organisation Round the World Experts

8:35-8:45pm - A 13 Days Backpacking tour of Japan. DragonTrip

8:45- 9:00pm - Q&A and discussion ..

9:00 - 9:10 pm - Planning for the high-tech geeky, trip of Japan

9:10 - 11:00 pm Chatter time.
