The Ray Benson Sno-Park is by the Hoodoo ski area on Highway 20. There is a large parking lot with miles of snow shoe / cross county ski trails to and between three warming huts. From the Sno-Park, you can see the skinny spire of Mount Washington to the south and the craggy Three Fingered Jack to the north. The 3 warming huts are located near open meadows with great views of the area. They will be great for breaks during the day.

Snow is in the forecast for this week. By this weekend, there should be plenty of new snow for us to play! We will arrive around 11am on Saturday and can ski/snowshoe until dark. We will then set up camp in the trees next to the Sno-Park. There's a big warming hut at the Sno Park for cooking and hanging out. We can do more skiing/snowshoeing on Sunday before heading home.

It is ok if you have not snow camped before if you tell us up front and are wiling to work with us to make sure you are properly equipped for a night in the snow.
