Elevation Gain: 6700 ft
Highest Point: 12,276ft
Calculated Difficulty: Hard

With the extreme low snow pack this winter, it's better to do this climb in early June hoping that we can still find some snow at the summit. We will leave Portland area on Friday around noon time, drive to the TH and hike up to Lunch Counter to camp. We will start climbing around 4am and hopefully can catch sunrise mid way up the mountain. We should be able to get back to the cars by 3pm.

For this event, you'll need crampons, ice axe and something to glissade down the mountain, as well as all necessary backpacking gear to spend a night at Lunch Counter (around 9000 ft).

As usual we will work out all the exact details in the event chat.
