Dark Divide Backpack

The Dark Divide is the largest unprotected roadless Wilderness area in Washington, sitting roughly between Mount St. Helens and Mount Adams within the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

For this trip, we will do a 4nights 5 days backpack. Distance with the pack will be 43 mile with roughly 10K of gain and lost. On Day 3, we will do a day hike from camp to Jumbo Peak and Sunrise Peak, which is another 12miles or so.
