Intro to Psychic Art

Also known as automatic, incidental surrealism, or spirit art, drawing and painting from subconscious impetus is a fascinating--and learnable--technique. In this workshop you will have a chance to try your hand at automatic drawing then interpret what you and others have created.

No prior art or intuitive reading experience is required, only a willingness to explore expectations, processes, and your own creative potentials.

All attendees must be on camera to participate. Entry to the online session will close 10 minutes after the start.

Required materials: several colors of a dry drawing medium (e.g.
pastels, charcoal, chalk, conté or crayon) in light, mid, dark values. Drawing paper or sketch book (8x10 or larger), mid toned or white. A full palette of colors is optional, not required.

This is both a single day meetup workshop and the first class of an eight part weekly class series. Tuition $150; register here. There is no fee to attend the meetup session.
