🌌 EC #35 - The Flower of Life

For this coming meetup, we’ll take our discussion from last week on “Everything is Within You” and go another step deeper by exploring the Flower of Life. (Attendance at the last meetup is not required to participate in this week’s discussion. :-))

The Flower of Life is a sacred geometry symbol representing the interconnectedness of all things. There are many interpretations available that describe the meaning of the Flower of Life; however, what is most important is not what we’re told by others but what the symbol brings to life within us when we take the time to sit with it and ask to be shown it’s meaning.

Over this coming week, take time individually to go within and discover the messages this sacred symbol would like to share with you. Then we will come together at the next meetup to share our experiences, revelations, insights, etc.

How to “sit with” the Flower of Life symbol:

First, set an intention (examples: ask to learn the meaning of the symbol, ask what it has to show you or remind you of for your life now, ask to be shown how it manifests in the world, etc.)

Secondly, choose to:

Sit in quiet meditation or contemplation while looking at the symbol (picture provided as the profile picture for this meetup) and notice thoughts, emotions, insights, images, etc. that come to mind for you.

Or

Listen to the pure sound frequency (128 hz) of the symbol. Notice what thoughts, emotions, insights, images, etc. come up for you while listening to the frequency.

You may choose to try out one or both methods above or you may choose to explore the symbol another way for the length of time that fits with your schedule. It’s up to you! :-)

Questions for discussion:

• What feelings, thoughts, or impressions arose when you looked at the symbol or listened to the sound frequency?
• What does the Flower of Life represent to you in terms of creation and the origins of life? And the relationship between unity and individuality?
• Does meditating on the Flower of Life symbol change the way you view yourself and/or your place in the world?
