On the pavement outside a 7-Eleven wanders Gohan, a young white dog with a distinctive pink nose. When a retired Japanese man takes him in and gives him a home for the very first time, an extraordinary journey begins—one that spans nearly a decade and connects the lives of people from different generations.

As the world around him changes, Gohan crosses paths with individuals who are each, in their own way, grappling with loss, uncertainty, love, and the search for where they belong. From an elderly man forced to let go of a familiar life, to a young woman trying to escape her circumstances, and a student discovering the true meaning of unconditional love.
