If you’ve lived abroad, traveled the world, or just love a good adventure, this is your night to connect with Austin’s expat and travel-loving crew. We’re all about recreating that open, hyper-friendly vibe of expat communities—think new friends for local hangs or planning epic trips together. Expect cold drinks, a fun icebreaker to share travel stories, and new friends.

Meet Your Hosts:

• About Selman: I’m a startup founder turned adventurer who’s lived in all around the US, Turkey, England and Kenya. I am now building an adventure community for real connection through epic retreats at Loaf (www.loaf.so). I’m hooked on trekking, breathwork, and sparking deep conversations that cut through the noise of the daily grind.
• About Hector: In August 2023, I cycled from London to Bangkok, arriving 17 months later. Having experienced the transformational power of adventure, I want to help people to feel alive through adventure retreats! Outside of this, I am an ultra-runner, an IronMan and a writer.
• About Vas: I’m a startup founder who’s been living in Kenya for the past 6 years and recently moved to Austin. I love free diving, rock climbing and I recently started putting together adventure retreats at Loaf (www.loaf.so).
• About Candace: I’m a digital nomad and the owner of a marketing agency for wellness professionals (wise-wolf.com). While Austin is my home base, I spend a few months each year traveling abroad. I love surfing, getting outdoors with my pup, and creating pottery.
