🌍Austin Expats & Newcomers: 90-Minute Hike + Tacos (Barton Creek Greenbelt)
Details
After our monthly Friday Social, it’s time for an adventure.
This Saturday, we’re heading outdoors for a relaxed 90-minute group hike at Barton Creek Greenbelt — fresh air, scenic views, and real conversations while we move.
It’s part of our Social + Adventure rhythm: drinks one month, trail the next — same friendly community, different setting.
## 📍 Where
Spyglass Trailhead at Barton Creek Greenbelt, Spyglass Drive, Austin, TX
(Meet near the trailhead entrance by the parking area)
## 🕘 Schedule
9:00 AM – Meet & casual introductions
9:15 AM – Start hiking (we begin on time)
10:45 AM – Finish (~90 minutes total)
11:15 AM – Tacos nearby at Papalote Taco House - 2803 S Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78704
## 🥾 What to expect
• Around 3–4 miles
• Easy to moderate pace (we stay together — no one left behind)
• Beginner friendly (some light elevation)
• Bring water and comfortable shoes
• Expect uneven terrain
This isn’t about speed or fitness.
It’s about movement, connection, and good energy.
## 🌍 Who it’s for
Expats, globally minded locals, travelers, creatives, remote workers, founders — and anyone who enjoys meaningful conversations in a relaxed environment.
If you’re new, this is one of the easiest and most natural ways to meet people in the group.
After the hike, we’ll grab tacos nearby (Tacodeli or another local favorite) and keep hanging out. No pressure — join the hike, join the tacos, or both.
Our goal is simple: build real friendships in Austin.
RSVP if there’s a chance you’ll join — we start at 9:15 sharp.
See you on the trail 🌿
