This circular walk takes us through the areas of Nederijk and Duivelsberg (“Devil’s Mountain”) plus Lake Wyler with lots of great views along the way.
From the meeting point, we head south into Landgoed Nederijk, which is a mix of lush forests and meadows. We will then circle back up north and into the Duivelsberg forest where we can stop at De Duivelsberg Pannenkoeken for refreshments. Then we will walk round the beautiful Lake Wyler before making our way back through the forest to the starting point.
This walk is quite hilly and involves some challenging paths due to general debris and half-buried rocks/tree branches so in some points you have to be really careful with your footing. Strong walking shoes are essential. Insect repellant is also a good idea. Also don’t forget to bring plenty of water and maybe snacks, although we will be stopping for food/drink half way through.
These walks tend to get full and usually end up with a waiting list so if you sign up and your plans change, PLEASE be considerate and update your RSVP to “No” and then someone else can take your place. Thanks in advance, and see you there!
