What we’re about
Welcome all English-speaking people and Expats in Toulouse!
Our group was created to make your life in Toulouse easier and more interesting through socialising with other open-minded people. There are plenty of activities, communities and good people around, through Expats in Toulouse you will get an easy access to all these resources for free and at one place.
To begin with, you can join our SMILE events to meet many nice people and to get plenty of information, tips and recommendations about life in France and in Toulouse particularly. One of the core values of our group is the mutual support so be sure that you will be welcomed by members of the community.
Our team of organisers from time to time arranges different events (sports, movies, social and professional networking, linguistic and cultural exchanges, eating, drinking, laughing, etc.), which are as diverse as the interests of our members.
Moreover, since it’s a free community, you’re very welcome to organise your own events at any date and time that you like. The purpose of it is to give people the choice, so everyone could find something interesting for oneself.

ChessBar, comment ça marche ?-Je m’inscris gratuitement en remplissant le formulaire ci-dessous.
-Je suis ajouté au groupe WhatsApp de ma ville sur lequel ont lieu les inscriptions aux différents tournois hebdomadaires. (voir tournois à venir)
-Je participe à un tournoi dans un bar près de chez moi et je marque des points en fonction de mes résultats. (voir classement)
Tous les 3 mois, les vainqueurs de chaque bar s’affrontent et tentent de se qualifier pour la finale annuelle qui désignera le nouveau champion ChessBar !
Tournoi de 12 personnes maximum soit 5 parties en cadence rapide (10min/joueur).
La durée d’un tournoi est d’environ 2h.
L’inscription est gratuite, il est simplement demandé aux joueurs et joueuses de consommer un minimum au bar.---

How does ChessBar work?
-I register for free by filling out the form below.
-I am added to my city's WhatsApp group, where registration for the various weekly tournaments takes place. (See upcoming tournaments.)
-I participate in a tournament at a bar near me and score points based on my results. (See rankings.)
Every 3 months, the winners from each bar compete to qualify for the annual final, which will determine the new ChessBar champion!
Tournament for a maximum of 12 people, or 5 rapid-fire games (10 minutes per player).
A tournament lasts approximately two hours.
Registration is free; players are simply asked to consume a minimum amount of alcohol at the bar.---
