Escaping to the countryside, spend a day in the 'Venice of The Netherlands' Giethoorn village and meet new people! We will explore the charming village by boat cruising around the fairyland. You get a chance to navigate the boat!
Giethoorn has only 2,700 inhabitants. There are no roads in the village centre, all transport is done by water over one of the many canals ( nowadays there is a cycling path). Venice has gondolas, Giethoorn has punters, traditional flatbottom boats that are used for transport over the canals.

10:00 Zaanse Schans windmills, clogs, cheese tasting and workshop
12:00 Zaandam 'Lego Hotel' photo stop
14:00 Arrive Giethoorn. Begin to explore the village by an English guided boat trip (1 hour)

14:15 Walking tour with the group experiencing the idyllic beauty of this amazing place
17:00 Leave Giethoorn
