#RomeExpats Expat Social Swap Meetup — Network with Expats, FAO & WFP Employees!

Details

Join us Tuesday, June 24, at Hummustown, for a special Social Swap Meetup sponsored by FirstMed Rome, an English-speaking clinic in Rome, and Teik, a utility rentals platform that also organizes swap events.

For this special event, we’re sending invitations to FAO and WFP employees, making it a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow internationals, newcomers, and professionals in the community.

Meet New People & Expand Your Network

This event is perfect for expats and internationals looking to make new friends in a relaxed and friendly setting. Many participants attend solo and end up having a fantastic time while forming new friendships.

Don’t hesitate to bring your partner, friends, flatmates, or colleagues—everyone is welcome!

What Can Be Swapped
You can bring pre-loved items in excellent condition that align with a sophisticated and curated selection. The focus is on quality over quantity:
• Household items: Small decorative objects, ceramics, glassware, art prints, unique kitchenware, and design-oriented home accessories.
• Books: Art books, fashion magazines and international literature.
• Small electronics: Functional and modern gadgets in optimal condition (e.g., quality headphones, portable speakers).
Clothing and accessories: High-end, mid-range designer, quality vintage, bespoke items, or unique pieces from independent designers.

Make a cost-effective acquisition by obtaining valuable items without the expense of purchasing new ones—especially beneficial for those on a budget.

The cost is €20, which includes one drink and food.

· This event is intended solely for expats and foreigners in Rome to create a supportive social space for sharing our experiences as internationals living in Italy.
