Mascarat Canyon is a stunning ravine carved by water between the Sierras de Bernia and Toix, separating Altea from Calpe and Marina Baixa from Marina Alta.

This medium-high difficulty route showcases the raw power of Mother Nature, where centuries of erosion shaped the dramatic landscape. For generations, this natural barrier made travel between Marina Baixa and Marina Alta challenging—until the late 19th century, when engineers built the iconic Mascarat Bridge, finally connecting both regions.
