"Mottainai" not only sums up the 3Rs of environmental conservation -- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle -- in just one word, but it also conveys respect for the earth's irreplaceable resources."

The popular handmade market will be held in front of Shimokitazawa Station. The surrounding shops and shopping streets are full of miscellaneous goods stores, making it a popular area with women."

After checking out the market (which opens at 10a for early birds that want to browse before we meet up at 10:30a) we will wonder this trendy neighborhood and grab a bite somewhere!

Largely my events are very social - so if you aren't big on shopping, no big deal. Just come for the camaraderie and conversation!
