Here's the plan - We have our legendary speed friends connections for the first 60 to 90 minutes! This will mean that you can come completely alone for the event and get connected to 10 to 15 other ladies and gentlemen even before the mix and mingle time begins!Can you imagine meeting new people, connecting with them & then having a Valentine's Day party with them?

WHY SPEED FRIENDING AT OUR Valentine's Day PARTY?

In our speed friending, we arrange for you to meet and chat with each other. This gives you an easy and convenient way to meet new people in a way that completely dissolves barriers. This is NOT speed dating and so you will be meeting both ladies and gentlemen in mixed groups. The intent is to create friendships.

One of the greatest benefits is that this tears down the walls of shyness. This speedy connection opens up the door to allow you to easily communicate and party together with other members of the group. Speed friending allows you to identify other people with common interests.

You will be able to bring in the new year with people you know and like. It will be amazing!

Here’s how it will be set-up:

Half of the group (mixed gender) will be in a fixed standing place and the other half of the group (mixed gender) will rotate. During these 3 to 4 minute intervals, each pair of people will get the opportunity to talk to each other. In about 60/90 minutes you will meet 10 to 15 new ladies and gents!

We will meet from 7.00 pm onwards. You should come early if you want to make new friends. (If you come late you will miss this). The Speed friending part will start exactly at 7.30 pm onwards and continue till about 8.45pm, so please try and be there on time. After 8.45 it is drinks and mingle and party!

• If you feel a bit shy, not used to meeting new people, a bit awkward then this is the format that will work great for you. If you are a confident socialiser then this format will make it even more amazing!

Our function room is booked for Jamie/Meetup.

We have 14 meetup groups in New York with over 34,000 members and we will be inviting members between the ages of 21 to 60 from most of these groups. You will always find a large group of ladies and gentlemen of your age group. (Members of our other groups who RSVP are included as guests of the organiser in your group in order to give you an idea of expected numbers.)

Jamie is hosting the event. She will welcome you warmly at the venue. She will also manage the speed friends part and so pls don't be late. You can join in if you are late but you will miss out on making new friends.

Everyone attends these events to meet other members and so there is no reason to be shy or bashful. Also be aware that most people come alone. Jamie is there to look after you and make you comfortable.
