Philo Cafe - Philo Debate Night

Join us for an open and engaging evening of philosophical exploration where curiosity takes center stage. At the start of the event, attendees will propose and vote on a central question or topic—ranging from ethics and metaphysics to politics and the philosophy of mind. Once the topic is chosen, we’ll dive into a free-flowing, respectful, and thought-provoking discussion. There are no formal presentations or predetermined conclusions—just an open space for ideas, arguments, and critical thinking. Whether you're a seasoned philosopher or simply enjoy meaningful conversation, this is a chance to share your thoughts, challenge assumptions, and explore new perspectives in a collaborative environment.

This event is part of season FIVE of our philosophy cafés and it’s part of a Paris-based Cercle de Réflexion dedicated to sharing existential, philosophical, and leadership ideas that shaped (and are still shaping) our world!
This club-like English-speaking group meets every first Thursday of the month and it's made for anyone interested in educational discussions and resources about philosophy, where you don’t need to be a graduate-level philosopher to understand it.
