Journey map like a pro, remotely

Come and learn about journey mapping, a technique that utilizes the powerful instruments of storytelling and visualization to reveal the complexities of a user’s experience over time. We’ve found journey mapping to be an invaluable tool for educational contexts — particularly for helping research and design teams more deeply understand learning experiences and needs over time.
We’ll share some of this, then model how this technique can be used in remote settings. Then, we will all build a journey map together, collaboratively, remotely. Sounds impossible, right? It’s actually quite easy. No experience necessary.
By the end of the session, you’ll be journey mapping like a pro, and ready to go out and use the technique. It’s a powerful tool to have in your toolbox, and you’ll be ready to try it.
You will need a way to connect via Zoom, and something larger than a phone (a tablet or laptop) to contribute in a collaborative workspace we will be using, in the cloud. Folks are also welcome to buddy up (we’ll help with this) or simply observe instead of jumping in.
Monday, Feb 1, 2021 from 7:00-8:30 eastern time.
