Tuesday Tarot as a Tool for Transformation and Self Development: The Tableau

Details
People are familiar with the Tarot as a tool for divination that we call a Tarot card reading. This will not be a class on the use of Tarot for divination. We will focus on the major arcanum of the Tarot as a practical tool for self development and insight into oneself and the world.
This series of 22 archetypal images can be used as objects of meditation and contemplation. Like mantras or mandalas, they work directly on the subconscious to bring to the surface direct revelations, insights, and experiences from the higher spiritual, superconscious aspects of ourselves. This is a form of depth psychology that is in alignment with the original intent of the inventors of this marvelous symbolic system.
In this class we will work with each of these images through a spiritual scientific method that uses a phenomenological approach. This allows the object of study to reveal itself to us without us imposing our preconceived thoughts and ideas upon it. We will then be in the best position to let the particular positive qualities of the being behind each image work its magic into our lives.
The first class will take a birds eye view of the 22 key tableau as a wholistic image. Subsequently, we will take each session thereafter to focus on one of the 22 keys. The last session will review the 22 keys as a whole image.
