Let's Meetup for this Leisure Kayak/SUPabout from near High and Dry Grill Beach Area 61 Causeway Blvd, Dunedin, FL 34698. We will be ALL underway on the water by 1030A and will Paddle over to Caladesi Island where we can make a stop at the Marina w a $2 Fee. Those desiring to do only 4.5miles which is 3hrs or less paddling time may hike the trails and spend beach time as desired before paddling back to start location through the Mangrove Tunnel high tide is 131P so should be doable vs the previous event:( to enjoy regardless of Short or Long Option. Those desiring the longer 9mile adventure will after an optional stop at the Marina paddle Mangrove Tunnels then after a short portage over to the Gulf we will paddle along the westside of Caladesi Island w a Beach Stop and FUN where we can meetup with those doing the shorter adventure if they desire Beach Time. Bring All Needed Items as this has the option to be a Full Day of Beach, Hiking and Paddling. Approx. 2-3hrs. Island Beach Time for those doing the Shorter Adventure or approx. 2Hrs. Island Beach Time for those doing the Longer Adventure. All of us Short/Long can meetup on the Beach at approx. 230P with a Beach Picnic if desired. Hikeabouts are an option on Caladesi Island. I will Host/Guide the Longer Paddle and all doing the shorter adventure may self paddle back to start where we will all end this FUN Day!!! I did this once before and have discovered an easier way to take our Kayaks & SUPS from the Bay Side to the Gulf Side w a shorter distance. ***I try to create Biking & Kayaking/SUP Events where those needing to rent equipment have the option. As above in the Bold Header make sure you start checking the comments and your messages starting 3Days Prior to Events. I require ALL RSVP Going to Re-Confirm in Good Faith Going via REPLY to Message sent by 48hrs prior to event if there is a waitlist to release spots or 24hrs. prior to event if no waitlist. Re-Confirming via Message vs Comment section prevents clogging up emails notifications for comments. Thanks!!!:)
