Symphony in the City Opera Concert + Dinner by The Lake
Palais Royale Banquet Hall, 1601 Lake Shore Blvd. West, Toronto, ON, CAOn Tuesday August 11th, join our first Symphony in the City at the Palais Royale - We Care About Opera - performed by the Toronto Concert Orchestra (TCO).
Opera, distilled to its most thrilling, heart-stopping moments. Opera Highlights brings together the arias and songs everyone loves—Nessun Dorma, O Sole Mio, Brindisi, and more—in one unforgettable evening with the TCO at Palais Royale.
Featuring radiant soprano Natalya Gennadi, powerhouse tenor Romulo Delgado, and NYC-based guest conductor Mark Shapiro, this concert delivers soaring melodies, emotional fireworks, and pure vocal brilliance. Whether you’re a lifelong opera lover or brand new to the genre, this program is designed to sweep you off your feet.Big tunes. Big feelings. Big voices. Set in the elegant intimacy of Palais Royale, this is opera at its most accessible and exhilarating: the drama, the romance, the goosebumps—all the highlights, all in one night.
Formerly led by internationally recognized conductor and music director Kerry Stratton, the Toronto Concert Orchestra served as the orchestra-in-residence at historic Casa Loma where it performed as Symphony in the Gardens for 6 seasons.
