On Saturday September 5th, join us for the Canadian Premiere of Anchorball at The Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) After Dark Event in Burlington.
RBG After Dark transforms ANCHORBALL: A Curious Art Journey into a vibrant evening experience for adults. Explore the gardens after hours surrounded by 18 large-scale pop art sculptures, illuminated pathways, live entertainment, food, drinks, and interactive experiences throughout the night. We will have the pleasure of walking through these beautiful gardens (the number one spot for wedding photos) and seeing the Canadian Premiere of Anchorball. Explore the vibrant sculptural universe of artist and contemporary sculptor Ken Kelleher, internationally known as Anchorball. This massive outdoor exhibition transforms the garden into a vivid sculptural landscape where bold characters, imaginative narratives, and contemporary form merge with nature and blooms to create a world that feels full of wonder, yet deeply recognizable.

Featuring 18 monumental sculptures ranging up to 12 feet tall, the exhibition introduces visitors to an evolving fictional universe, known as Low Orbit City, populated by playful and mythical characters. In addition to the physical installations, visitors can discover a hidden digital world using augmented reality with characters known as Cloudwalkers and unlock an AR Masterpiece, extending the experience beyond the visible landscape and inviting moments of surprise, play, and exploration throughout the garden.

• This is an outdoor event and is subject to weather conditions. RBG reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, or cancel the event due to inclement weather, unforeseen circumstances, or other conditions that may impact safety. Ticket holders will be notified of any changes via email, which may occur without prior notice.

TRANSPORTATION:

• Arrange for your own transportation. Feel free to post in the Comments if you want/need to carpool.
• Carpool attendees MUST have a picture and arrange a PUBLIC pick-up/ drop off spot for the security of members. Any risks associated with carpooling are borne by the member, and Experience Toronto cannot be held liable under any circumstances.

• RSVP Yes with your cell and email (required for out of town events); everyone goes on the waitlist until they post they have purchased their ticket and have transportation)
• Purchase your own ticket for RBG After Dark Anchorball on Saturday September 5th, post you have purchased your ticket and have transportation, and I will move you to going.

A reminder will be sent the day before with my cell and details where to meet and when.

RSVPs close 2 days prior, hoping there are still tickets, and the Waitlist will be removed at that time. Cancellations will result in a No Show and impact future attendance.

MEETUP TIME
Meet me at: 6:30pm at Hendrie Park, Royal Botanical Gardens at 680 Plains Rd. W. in Burlington, to the right of the entrance before scanning your tickets. We will then head in together.

Time: 6:30 - 10:30pm (people can leave whenever they wish)

8:30pm: I have made reservations for dinner a few mins away. I hope you will join.
