Bunker Drama Thriller at TIFF 2026 + Lunch (Princess of Wales)

On Tuesday September 15th, see Bunker at the 51st edition of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Oscar winners Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem play a couple whose bond is tested when a mysterious billionaire’s proposal prompts an ethical impasse in the latest from Oscar-winning writer-director Florian Zeller (TIFF ’20’s The Father). When a mysterious billionaire asks Miguel (Bardem) to design a luxury bunker where a tiny cluster of the ultra-wealthy can take shelter in an apocalypse, the offer appeals to his vanity as much as his pocketbook - an opportunity to furnish a pyramid for a modern-day pharaoh. But for Sofia (Cruz), the proposal reeks of the gross inequality that is destroying the world. Bardem and Cruz infuse their roles with complexity and vulnerability in this tale of affluence, paranoia, and ambition, where there is nothing more precious than love.... • Purchase your own ticket for Tuesday, September 15th at 11am, post your seat number and I will move you to going. Note: tickets are currently showing as sold out, but that can change at any time as they release more tickets or people make exchanges.
• Alternately, you can message me for the extra ticket, and it will be confirmed once payment is received by etransfer. Ticket will be provided at the event start time.
• Rush is also possible, requiring you to line up 1 hour before showtime. 15 mins prior to start time, an attendance check is completed and any available seats are sold at regular price + $2

Meet me for the Show at: 10:30am inside the Princess of Wales Theatre at 300 King St. W, on the ground floor to the right side of the box office after scanning your tickets.
