Music Academy's "Love & Laughter" sung theater

Music Academy of the Wests' Summer Music Festival will have a night of opera/artsong. “Four Dialogues,” based on the diamond-hard poetry of Frank O’Hara, follows two lovers from a chance meeting on the New York subway through a quick, tumultuous affair and out the other side. In opera "Lucrezia," Bolcom borrows from Spanish zarzuela to score a comedy by Macchiavelli (my head spins). $65 at MAW
