Two American Operas from Carlisle Floyd

Mission opera is performing two: a tragedy and a comedy for $38-link Slow Dusk set in the sandhills of the Carolinas Sadie and Micah plan to marry, against the wishes of Sadie’s family who oppose the relationship because the families different religious sects. Despite their poor land prospects, they dream of building a future together.
