Join us at the Annekset, Teaterøen, Refshaleøen for a day of building and playing with P2P Apps. Please RSVP. Spots are limited.

Come use our scaffolding tools to make fully distributed apps without having high-level dev skills.

Come play with a whole bunch of Apps that already exist and start exploring how they could be useful to you and your communities.

17:00 -- 17:30: Show and Tell and Closing
17:30 -- 18:02: Runover time because people are having fun and making all these great connections

Kids and Families are welcome. If you’re bringing younger ones, please reach out to us at *events@holo.host* to let us know to discuss what support we might be able to make available.

Preparation
Please join the Holochain Developer Discord and set up your dev environment before coming! It takes a while for everything to load up, so it's much better to do this in advance!

How it works
Everyone has the opportunity to learn by doing at our events.
Whether you come with an idea, project, or team -- doesn’t matter.
The event will be coordinated in semi-open-space. It will happen in scheduled as well as emergent sessions, (self)organized in accord with Agile principles.

Experience
We want to build a more humane internet with greater individual sovereignty and collective intelligence. We do our best to design our events to reflect that intention. Holochain Hackathons are focused on growing and building knowledge, apps, and community in a collaborative, agent-centric context. We’ll organize and schedule sessions as and when needed so that we spend more time learning by doing and less time in back to back classes. We provide healthy(ish) food, encourage breaks, and have reasonable start and end times so that participants leave the event feeling well. We provide projects to jump in on and a lean process for participants to form projects and teams around things they’re passionate about.

Cost
It’s free baby!
Thanks to the generosity of our hosts at Annekset, Teaterøen we’re able to offer this event for free!

Come join:
Guillem Cordoba, Matthias Meier, Viktor Zaunders, Julia Larson, and Eric Bear

Inclusion and Diversity
We want the Next Net to be built by a community representative of global diversity so it can serve and be useful to a range of diversities or people.. The current tech space isn’t great for this kind of diversity. We have a scholarship fund for LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and women participants. If you’ve got any questions, concerns, or needs that would make it easier for you to participate, please reach out to us at events@holo.host.
We welcome all who participate constructively in our community, including but not limited to people of varied age, culture, ethnicity, gender, gender-identity, language, race, sexual orientation, geographical location and religious views. We welcome you.

Participation Guidelines
We follow the core contributor covenant code of conduct.
- Be respectful and value each other’s ideas, styles and viewpoints
- Be direct but professional; we cannot withhold hard truths
- Be inclusive and help new perspectives be heard
- Appreciate and accommodate our many cultural practices, attitudes and beliefs
