Oxford - Beach Staycation: Mermaid Island and Pirates on Stilts

Red Brick Friday - Downtown Oxford

## Beach Staycation: Mermaid Island

Enjoy live music by the Parrots of the Caribbean (Facebook), a Jimmy Buffet tribute band set to play at the Oxford Memorial Park pavilion from 6-10 pm. Bring the kids up to have fun on a tropical water slide and slip n’ slide! Walking around Uptown you won’t be able to miss PIRATE STILT WALKERS, costumed characters, and balloon artists. Try some themed food vendors, local treats, and DORA-friendly tropical drinks to cool off in the heat. TIP: Dress to the theme in your favorite island wear!
