An exciting week of walks, doggie swimming and entertainment. I'm still putting the finishing touches to the program, and there will be events and activities to suit dogs (and people!) of all ages and abilities. Long walks exploring the fabulous countryside for the energetic, and pampering sessions and sniffaris for our less active pooches.
Expect picnics, group meals, trips to dog-friendly places with cream teas ... you get the idea!
And we're also celebrating 10 years of Explore by Paw raising funds for the[ Cinnamon Trust](https://cinnamon.org.uk/). They sent me a Gold certificate recently to thank all of us for the donations, so do check their website to see what they do.
Because it's the summer and so many people had horrid journeys to the Lakes last year I've put the travel dates onto a Sunday when the roads are less congested. Seemed like a good idea to me, but let me know if you think it's a bit daft and we can go back to a Friday travel day and start on the Saturday.
**Accommodation** The recommended campsite is https://islandmeadowcaravanpark.co.uk/ in the village of Aston Cantlow and it's suitable for campervans, tents and they also have pods. OAP discounts available. If you'd like to hire a tent we have 2 large ones available (just for the cost of cleaning them).
Hotel - The [Kings Court Hotel](https://www.kingscourthotel.co.uk/) near Alcester is dog-friendly and not far from the campsite.
Air B&Bs - there are lots because of the tourism in Stratford on Avon. Can be pricey and you're better off looking in Alcester, Evesham or Bidford on Avon.
