XLB Gets Intimate: Happy Hour at Delius Restaurant

This date on the calendar was looking a little dry, so let's use this opportunity to go check out a place XLB hasn't been before (I know—impossible to believe, but true).

Delius in Signal Hill is a casually elegant restaurant and wine bar that has been on my radar for some time. They offer a variety of dining choices (including a Prix Fixe dinner in the private dining room or dining in their wine cellar), but we'll meet up in their intimate wine bar for a cocktail or 2 and maybe a delicious appetizer.

Their happy hour features $2 off draft beers and $4 well drinks or $6 martinis. Delius also features an especially varied and eclectic wine list, and the wine bar offers by-the-glass samplings. Some food choices available at the bar include fish tacos, chicken lettuce wraps, sliders, brushcetta, homemade potato chips, and onion fries—all in the $4-$8 range.

Free parking is available in the restaurant parking lot. Happy hour is technically from 4-7pm, but we'll be there starting at 5pm until who knows when.

This will be a SMALL happy hour since their intimate bar only holds about 20 people. No maybes, no flakers, and no crashers please. Hope to rub elbows with you at the bar!
