*Note: This event is located inside Leisure World which is a gated private community. You must be invited as a guest of one of the residents.
If you know one of the 10,000 residents there please call them to have them put your name at front the gate so the guards will let you in.

Mark Wood and the Parrot Head Band are back and ready to get their "Fins in the Air!"
After being quarantined for over a year, Mark Wood and the Parrot Head Band are vaccinated and ready to play your next event!
Mark began listening to and playing Jimmy Buffett tunes in the early 1970’s. The stories that Jimmy told in his songs, along with the great melodies, were always very intriguing to Mark. Songs like Margaritaville, A Pirate looks at 40, Pencil Thin Mustache and Tampico Trauma became staples in his solo career.
In 1999, a friend in the corporate event planning business, needed a “Jimmy Style” band for an event. This was a chance for Mark to put together the perfect party band. Mark called longtime friend Doug Legacy, formerly of Oingo Boingo and Paul McCartney fame. This was the beginning of an incredible rhythm section. Then he added a cast of versatile sidemen and all of the pieces of this incredible band were in place. A Cajun/Zydeco rhythm section, reggae keyboardist, country guitarist, R&B sax man, a great percussionist and a steel drummer actually taught by Coral Reefer Band Member, Robert Greenidge. This unbelievable combination is what makes Mark Wood and the Parrot Head Band the next best thing to “Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band.”
Mark Wood and the Parrot Head Band have performed around the world for our US Military, concerts, corporate events and private parties, all shows are true to the partying Jimmy Buffett Style. This is band is the next best thing to Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band concert. Mark Wood and the Parrot Head Band are now performing songs from more than forty years of Jimmy’s music from all of your favorite tours. They have also performed as the opening act for Jimmy Buffett concert in Irvine, CA at Verizon Amphitheater and Mark has performed with Mac MacAnally in Southern California at The Coach House.
