Experience one of Japan's most magical summer evenings at Enoshima!
For a limited time, Enoshima Lantern Festival 2026 transforms the island into a breathtaking world of glowing lanterns, beautiful coastal scenery, and traditional Japanese atmosphere. Recognized as one of the Kanto Three Great Night Illuminations, the festival features over 1,000 lanterns illuminating Enoshima's shrines, gardens, and historic streets.
During this special weekend, we'll also experience Shadow Art Night, an exclusive live performance held for only two evenings at Samuel Cocking Garden.
We'll explore Enoshima on foot, walking through its charming streets, historic shrines, and lantern-lit pathways together. Along the way we'll enjoy the sunset over Sagami Bay, take a relaxing break, and finish the evening with the spectacular Shadow Art Night performance.
Whether you're visiting Japan, new to Tokyo, or have lived here for years, everyone is welcome!

夏の終わりに、幻想的な江の島の夜を一緒に楽しみませんか？
期間限定で開催される江の島灯籠2026では、江島神社や庭園、歴史ある参道などが1,000基以上の灯籠で彩られ、幻想的な夏の夜を楽しむことができます。
さらに今回は、週末の2日間限定で開催される「影絵の夜（Shadow Art Night）」も鑑賞します。
江の島を徒歩でゆっくり散策しながら、歴史ある街並みや江島神社、灯籠に彩られた道を楽しみ、相模湾の夕日を眺めます。最後はサムエル・コッキング苑で、幻想的な影絵のライブパフォーマンスを楽しみましょう。

日本旅行中の方、東京・神奈川に住んでいる方、Meetup初心者の方も大歓迎です。

We'll meet outside the main exit of Odakyu Katase-Enoshima Station.
The organizer will be holding an Explore Nature Tokyo sign, so you'll be able to find us easily.
Please arrive on time so we can leave together.

Please arrive on time so we can leave together.
The event involves walking around Enoshima, including stairs and some uphill sections. Please wear comfortable shoes.
Please bring enough water, especially during the summer.
The schedule may change depending on weather, crowd conditions, or the event program.
If severe weather is expected, the event may be postponed or canceled. Any updates will be posted on Meetup.

🌿 AFTER THE MEETUP｜イベント後
The official Meetup ends at 8:00 PM.
After the event, anyone who would like to continue the evening is welcome to join for dinner, drinks, or a walk around Enoshima.
Participation after 8:00 PM is completely optional.
イベントは20:00に終了します。
その後、ご希望の方は夕食や飲み物、江の島周辺の散策などをご一緒しましょう。
20:00以降の参加は完全に自由です。
