Learn Mandarin: Tea Brewing & Tasting

Taiwanese people love tea — you can tell just by the endless bubble tea shops on every street.
But interestingly, among all the colorful drink options, the best-selling items are often the simplest: pure tea. But with so many types of tea, can you actually taste the difference between them?

In this session, we won’t just drink tea, we will:
• Taste both cold brew and freshly brewed tea
• Test your taste sensitivity — can you identify different tea types?
• Learn how to describe tea aroma and flavor in Mandarin
• Brew your own pot of tea and discover how time changes the taste

Let tea awaken your senses —
observe the color, inhale the aroma, and explore the subtle differences in every cup.

From light and refreshing to rich and roasted,
you’ll learn how to go beyond saying “good” and confidently describe flavors in Chinese.

Tea leaves and teaware will be ready!
