What we’re about
Belmont Shore is one of Long Beach’s most walkable neighborhoods—flat, compact, and easy to explore from the beach to 2nd Street. This group meets regularly to experience the Shore on foot: weekly morning walks and a monthly docent-led art walk.
Weekly Walks — “Tour the Shore”
Saturdays at 7:30 AM. Meet at 2nd & La Verne for an easy guided, educational and recreational 90 minute walk. All paces welcome.
WOW – "Walk on Wednesdays"
Wednesdays at 7:15 AM. Meet at Chase Bank (5200 E. 2nd) We leave promptly at 7:30 am to embark on a brisk 1 hour, 3-mile loop. Every week, we rotate through 12 different routes with each one going by water - the ocean, the bay, the canals, Marine Stadium, and the Colorado Lagoon.
Monthly — “2nd Saturdays: Belmont Shore Art Walk”
Second Saturdays at 5:00 PM. Meet at 2nd & La Verne for a guided stroll of local art, windows, murals, and creative pop-ups. Every third month aligns with a featured opening night.
