Tucson modernism week home tour Sunday Nov. 9th 10 AM (multiple time options)

NOTE that tickets are available for multiple time slots starting at 9 AM. I bought a ticket for 10 AM because I have another activity beforehand. If you don't buy a ticket beforehand you can purchase one beforehand at the former Hirsh's shoes 2934 E. Broadway, which is also the home of Tucson Historic Preservation. You can pick up a map at Hirsh's also and then can drive to the different homes on the tour.

There are numerous fascinating homes on the tour. The last few years have included the home of Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, who lived in Tucson two separate times. There are a number of new homes on the tour this year.

You may also be interested in checking out other events associated with Tucson Modernism week. The Home Tour is my favorite but there are a number of lectures and a (pricey) cocktail party as well. One of the other cool events I think is either a tour or lecture about the history of Miracle Mile, which at one time was something of a major thoroughfare through Tucson.

Ticket maps with home locations, tour bracelets, and shoe covers will be available only on the day of the tour Sunday, November 9. To check-in and collect your materials, please arrive at Hirsh’s Shoes / Holt Modernism, 2934 E. Broadway Blvd., at or after your designated ticket time on Sunday, November 9. Check-in ends at 11:00 AM.

Limited availability—get yours before they sell out. If tickets remain, they will be available for purchase at the pick-up location (Hirsh’s Shoes / Holt Modernism, 2934 E. Broadway Blvd) on the day of the tour before 11:00AM.
