Tucson Respectful Argument Event 5 PM Saturday - ICE

NOTE: Usually the event is held in one of the rooms on the west side of the church. Look for the cars - there is a little gate you can go through that takes you to a corridor with some cute paintings on the walls and the meeting room will be on the left or south side of the corridor. This is a cross-post to promote a discussion event hosted by another group I really enjoy, using the "Respectful argument" format, which is sort of like a debate.

The topic this time is ICE - US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Usually one member will prevent a view point and the other member will provide the opposite viewpoint. The intent is to have an intelligent discussion and to learn how to have productive discussions. Rob is a great facilitator and the discussions are always interesting and insightful.

I'm kind of a discussion addict and don't actually have many deeply held political views - I just really enjoy learning about how other people think and I always learn something new, and hopefully also learn some listening and presentation skills.
