Paint or draw at Hyde Park

Hello to all the art and paint hobbiests.

This is a FREE event.

I'm putting together another day and time for a paint of drawing session in Hyde Park. You are welcomed to either do painting or drawing. It will be held at the Italian Gardens in Hyde park, right opposite Lancaster Gate underground station. On Sunday 1st of October 2023 at 11.00am.

Tools:
I will be bringing both painting and drawing tools but it will be limited so I will recommend bringing your own tools too. I will also be bringing a few different paper types which you are welcomed to take if you wish to draw or paint on. There is few benches at this spot and I will aim to arrive little earlier to grap one for the session. I will also recommend if you have one available, a portable folding chair. This will be really useful when choosing which spot you would like to draw / paint.

Area:
So like mentioned, we will be mainly around the 'Italian Gardens' which has nice fountains and near by ponds and memorial sites. The pond is right next to the fountains with a nice tree scenery. I will personally most likely be doing some drawing and may either use pastels or feltip pens over the sketches I will be doing. I will be in the garden at 10.45am.

Weather:
As we are in London, you will already know the varying and unpredicable weather we have here. If the weather is on our side, we will have a great session. If it will be rainy, there is a cafe also in the Italian Garden's so we can hop there. Do bring some rain coat / umbrella but lets all hope for the best!

Under 18's:
Are welcome, as long as they are accompanied by an Adult: As this will be a self service paint / drawing session, please accompany and lead them during the session.

Fees:
This is a free meet up event and want to be open for as many like minded people. The Meet Up platform is not a free service for the organisers and will appreciate if anyone donates £2 towards the admin costs.

Cancellation or day of event:
As there will be limit to the number of guests, please cancel RVPS if you cannot attend the event and let anyone who may be on the waiting list. If you are late or have last minute changes, please contact me on Whatsapp or call me 'Ulas', 07508090377. The app is a bit glitchy sometimes so may miss some messages. Please give at least 1 hour notice prior to the event so that we respect anyone who is on time and waiting for the session to start.
