Sunrise to Sunset - Spring in Big Sur Coast (Day Two)

Details

Day 2: The rugged Big Sur coastline is one of the most photogenic in the world. The route along Highway 1 dips down to pristine beaches and climbs precariously high above the Pacific, offering sweeping panoramic views.

Springtime is one of best time of the year to photograph Big Sur. Green rolling hills, lush spring flowers, misty sunrise or enticing sunset... what else landscape photographers can dream about?

Springtime is one of best time of the year to photograph Big Sur.

Since everyone is not interested in entire weekend tour, I'm dividing this into tow days, so you can signup for the day you are interested in. You can sign-up for both days as well to maximize photo opportunities. I prefer not to repeat the locations, however I reserve the rights to do so if we get excellent photo opportunities.

I have shortlisted photogenic locations along the coast line (including GPS co-ordinates) and determined the best time of the day to photograph those locations.

In addition to the guiding you to the several spectacular locations, you will get my advice and demonstration on landscape photography techniques like:

  1. Composition: leading line & rule of thirds

  2. Optimum Depth of Field: how to create sharpest image without degrading resolution

  3. Use of Polarizing Filter

  4. Use of Neutral Density Filter

  5. Long exposure techniques in low light or broad day light

  6. How to get correct exposure in your DSLR and when you need multiple shots to create HDR

  7. How to create sharpest images using Tilt Shift Lens & Focus Bracketing

I will also arrange additional events to teach how process these images in Digital Darkroom using Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop CC.
