Walk the Maribyrnong River Trail, Footscray to Edgewater + Coffee & Connections

Details
Join me to walk the beautiful Maribyrnong River Trail, from the Footscray Community Arts Centre to Edgewater Wetlands.
Our walk will take us past the Heavenly Queen Taoist Temple, through Newell's Paddock conservation area, past the Footscray Park and on to Edgewater Marina. The trail is a beautiful environment to explore, connect, make new friends and enjoy native flora and fauna with over 80 bird species sighted in the wetlands area.
Once we arrive at the marina, we will stop and take a good break to enjoy the river views and have something to eat or drink, there are two cafes and an Italian Deli there.
The Maribyrnong Trail is flat and well maintained, and the walk is rated easy to moderate. The distance is approximately 7kms and is around 1 hour 45 mins of walking at a moderate pace, and we can take breaks along the way to enjoy the environment.
